Only good when you don't need them

For the past 4 years I have had a maintenance contract with EMC on my A/C. About 2 weeks ago my A/C started to give me trouble. Instead of sending a service person to fix the unit that is 10 years old, they sent a sales rep to give me a quote on a new
unit. I told the rep that I have a maintenance contract and want it fixed not replaced. He did something and it worked for 2 more weeks and now it is starting to give me trouble again. I called ECM, set up an appointment which they confirmed, BUT they did
not send a repairman. When I called back to find out why the repairman never showed up they told me he was "running late" and that I would have to make a new appointment. Still trying to get the unit repaired but without any luck. Terrible company! Only take
them if you are a masochist!
