I was also not impressed with this business. I went to get a smog test done and suprisingly did not pass. Unknown to the employee I dealt with, this is after I had changed the vehicle engine, catalytic converter and completed all necessary maintenance. When I asked the employee (who I think was the owner) to review the smog report with me, he was not helpful, and rather defensive. I also learned that unlike many of the other nearby smog shops, Kenny's does not do a second recheck included in the original price (if you don't pass the initial test). He did offer to "run some diagnostics" for a handsome price. I told him I have auto mechanic experience and asked for some advice on how to remedy the problem and he was not helpful. Perhaps this is all my fault, but I would choose another shop to get a smog check in the future. My gut feeling was he tried to take advantage of me. I hope this review will help someone.
