In late May I came home and found a yellow advertisement hanging from my door. I almost tossed it in the trash but the words "Stop Foreclosure" caught my attention. I had recently been laid off and had fallen behind 3 months in my mortgage payment. I called the number and spoke with Mike the owner and aranged to meet with him. He informed me of my options and offered some solutions to help me and my family avoid foreclosure.
I decided to use Safehouse because I was out of options. I had heard of loan modifications but was always skeptical. Mike and the negotiator that handled my case did a great job. They gave me updates through the week and took a majority of the stress off my life. After about 2.5 months, the loan mod process was complete. I was able to get a lower fixed rate 5.75% rate, and a savings of around $550.00 monthly.
I was very skeptical at first, but after meeting with them at their office and them walking me through the steps, I was assured that a loan modification would save my home. Glad I made the right decision.
