Beware - There is something really wrong with this company.

I have a current mortgage with Carnegie Mortgage and decided to give them a chance to refinance my loan when the rates dropped. I was referred to Ovation Home Loans who is handling their refinances. Big mistake - The first loan officer e-mailed my entire credit report after I specifically asked her not to. When I complained, I was told it was not company policy and that her manager would be informed. When I spoke to her two weeks later, she knew nothing about it and maintained that she always e-mails credit reports to applicants. I asked for a new loan officer who was supposed to be the best. This turns out to be a very selfish and arrogant individual who ignores phone call, e-mails and lies. This man has promised on three different occasions to call me the next day. Never does. The only way I can reach him is to call the loan processor. I try his office phone, his e-mail, his cell phone but he will not call me back. I can only assume he doesn't think it is worth his time as he has doubts the loan would work. Regardless, it is common courtesy to return a phone call. I will not do business with anyone who shows such complete disregard to their customer. Carnegie has lost a good mortgage payer. I am doing business else where.
